TONI ACKERMAN NEFF
was widowed in 2008. She has two daughters, Wendy and Sandy, and a grandchild, Hazel. She is active in her church, attending Bible studies, CARE (an outreach program at her church), and is a member of the Victory Sunday School class. She has Meniere’s disease (causes vertigo and imbalance issues) but she manages well with the support of many Christian sisters and brothers. She even does some volunteer work at her church when she is physically able. She holds Bible studies for ladies in her home during the summer months when her church does not sponsor them. Miss Kitty, rescued from the Humane Society, thinks she is a dog and is Toni’s “heaven-sent companion.”
JOAN AGEE ACREE
She and Steve are working at the Bob Jones University Press. Their youngest son, Aaron, is a senior at BJU. Stephanie and Juan Marcos are in Monterrey, Mexico, working in a church. She teaches in the church school and Juan at Christian University. Their grandson Joshua Aiden, Adam’s son, is a year old.

She passed away July 15, 2005.

Her son, David, graduated from the South Carolina Police Academy. He is now a State Trooper, working in Greenville County.

Lulu is a great grandmother of a boy, Jayce Esjew, who weighed in at 9 pounds, 6 ounces. He was born on June 27, 2010, to their daughter Miranda and husband.

passed away in Greenville on June 2, 2009. She was at Miracle Hill from ’62 to ’64. Surviving Patsy are two daughters and a son, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Bobbie Jean Colley, who was also at Miracle Hill.

After 25 years working on the Texas/Mexico border assisting missionaries, they are now serving under Trinity BaptistChurch, helping missionaries on furlough and deputation. They testify: “We know this is the season of our life to pray for and promote missions as much as possible and to continue to help when we can”.

Peter and family live in Greer, SC, and Paul and family are in MA. Purity is in PA, and Peace lives in FL.

“Miss Coy,” as the little ones called this staff member, lives in Nashville, TN. She is the widow of former staff member Don Hummel, Sr. She serves as president of The Benchmark Group Publishing and Literary Agency. She has three adult children, two granddaughters, and a grandson due March 2010. She is an international speaker and author of seventeen books, the most recent being released on Nov. 2009, a 365-day devotional, Glorifying God, published by Thomas Nelson.
