Since this ride is a benefit for Miracle Hill Ministries, the route will encompass four of Miracle Hill’s six facilities housing the homeless. Our route will originate at the Miracle Hill Rescue Mission • Greenville, near the downtown post office at 7:00 a.m. We’ll go through Cleveland Park, out to Verdae before coming back to Miracle Hill Shepherd’s Gate, near Bob Jones. We will pass Miracle Hill Boys’ Shelter in Taylors before heading north over Paris Mountain. Once we cross Paris Mountain, the route will wind around Furman University and through the Green Valley area, then climb Caesar’s Head. Once past Caesar’s Head, we will cycle through scenic country roads heading back to Highway 178.

The ride will conclude with a meal and family activities at the picnic shelter of Miracle Hill Children’s Home, just off Highway 288 near Pumpkintown. Riders, their families, sponsors and the news media are all invited to the post-ride meal and activities.

The Miracle Hill Cycling Challenge seeks to raise funds to help Miracle Hill Ministries care for homeless and needy men, women and children across the Upstate of South Carolina. Each year Miracle Hill shelters and cares for approximately 10,000 different men, women and children through facilities in Greenville, Pickens, Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties.

Each team member is expected to raise at least $10.00 per mile in personal sponsorships. (40 mile = $400, metric ride = $620, & Century = $1000)
