On Tuesday, November 20, 2012, Ellis and Bradley of WSSL 100 will be hosting our annual Turkey Fry to help feed approximately 2000 homeless individuals in all 9 of our shelters as well as in the surrounding community. The turkeys will be served as part of a complete Thanksgiving dinner. But – we can’t possibly do it alone! We need lots of volunteers, 250 gallons of peanut oil, 40 filled propane tanks, 200 turkey sz aluminum pans, lots of aluminum foil and paper towels, oh – and at least 300 turkeys!
Frozen turkeys can be brought November 1 – 16 to our Admin Office at 2419 Wade Hampton Blvd in Greenville or to our Spartanburg Mission at 189 N Forest Street. Fresh, THAWED turkeys can be delivered to our Spartanburg Mission only from November 17 – 20.
