This Thanksgiving we need you! Ellis and Bradley of WSSL 100 will be hosting our annual Turkey Fry on Monday, November 21, at our Spartanburg Rescue Mission. Although the event is held in Spartanburg, the turkeys will be served for Thanksgiving to over 1600 hungry and homeless individuals in Miracle Hill shelters across the Upstate. But – we can’t possibly do it alone! We need lots of volunteers, 250 gallons of peanut oil, 40 filled propane tanks, 200 turkey sz aluminum pans, lots of aluminum foil and paper towels, oh – and at least 300 turkeys!
Please bring THAWED or FRESH turkeys to our Admin Office at 2419 Wade Hampton Blvd or to our Spartanburg Mission located at 189 N Forest Street anytime thru Monday, November 21.
