An educational family project:
Teaching your family how to best love your neighbors who are experiencing homelessness and addiction.

Welcome to Backyard Missions!

This interactive family experience will teach you about homelessness with three fun sections:

1) Learning      2) Experiencing      3) Serving

For the best experience, we recommend that you complete each section in its entirety before moving to the next one.
There is an introduction video in each section explaining the activities and offering a brief lesson for all ages.

We are so thankful you are taking this journey with us!

Let’s begin

  • First say a prayer together, asking for God’s wisdom as you go through this program.
  • Next read our memory verse below: Matthew 25:35-36.
  • Then watch the welcome video and begin!

Welcome Video

Matthew 25:35-36
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

We pray the Lord blesses you and your family as you walk through this curriculum.
